Voxtri - Privacy Policy

This policy is effective as of 30 September 2026.

Introduction

Your privacy is important to us. It is “RAY APP” LLC (“Voxtri”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you via our mobile application Voxtri (the “App”) and its associated services, site and/or apps.

This privacy policy applies between you, the user of this App, and us, the owner and provider of this App. We take the privacy of your information very seriously. This privacy policy applies to our use of any and all data collected by us or provided by you in relation to your use of the App.

This privacy policy applies only to the actions of Voxtri and users with respect to this App. It does not extend to any websites or third-party services that can be accessed from this App, including, without limitation, links to social media websites or your device’s system services and third-party apps (e.g., your navigation app, your music app, the system voice invocation feature). You should review those providers’ policies separately.

Information we collect

Log Data. When you access our servers via the App, we may automatically log standard usage data provided by your device. This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type and version, App activity, timestamps, and other diagnostic details. If you encounter certain errors while using the App, we automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding it (e.g., device and OS details and the action attempted).

Device Data (Permissions and Signals). With your explicit permission, the App may access:

  • Location (GPS): to fulfill navigation-related requests you initiate (e.g., start a route, re-route, add a stop) and to power Day Plan features such as estimated time of arrival (ETA) and lateness prediction. In addition, our analytics SDK (Amplitude) automatically records your approximate location (latitude/longitude) and IP address together with usage events.
  • Microphone / Speech Recognition: to capture your voice commands and convert them to text for immediate processing to fulfill your requests. We do not retain raw audio recordings.
  • Notifications: to send you in-app and/or push notifications that you request or enable (e.g., confirmations). We may process a device push token to deliver notifications; you can disable notifications in your device settings.
  • Music/Media Control: to open and control your chosen music application or connected music service (e.g., play a requested artist/track/playlist, skip, pause/stop). We do not collect your media service credentials and do not export your library to our servers.
  • Navigation Intents: to pass your navigation requests (e.g., start route, re-route, add a stop) to your chosen navigation application.
  • Camera: used by an infrastructure component that supports assistant logic. We do not capture or store photos or videos unless you explicitly perform an action that requires image capture (and you will be informed in-App if such a feature is presented).
  • Calls (Android only): to initiate and manage phone calls that you explicitly request through the assistant (e.g., “call [number/contact]”). We may process the dialed number or a contact identifier strictly to execute your call. We do not record call audio, and we do not collect your carrier call records. We do not access call logs unless a specific feature requires it and you expressly enable it.
  • Contacts: to let you pick one contact to notify about a delay. We access only the contact you select (name and phone number); we do not read, upload or store your address book.
  • Calendar: to let you import today’s events from your device calendar into a Day Plan. We read events only when you use the import feature and only the events you choose to import become stops; we do not store a full copy of your calendar.
  • SMS composer: to notify your selected contact that you are running late, the App opens your device’s system SMS composer with a prepared message. The App does not send SMS messages on its own and does not read your SMS messages. The message is sent only if you send it in the composer, and we record only the outcome (opened, sent or cancelled).

Voice Assistant-Specific Data. To provide voice assistance, the App may process voice inputs and transcriptions of user commands that you voluntarily provide to perform actions (e.g., open/control apps, navigation, music playback, or, on Android, calls). We maintain a limited, recent history of interactions (text form only) to provide context and personalize your experience (e.g., understand your phrasing, honor a recently given preference). We do not retain raw audio. We do not maintain continuous background location history unrelated to an active, user-initiated request.

Day Plan Data. The Day Plan feature lets you build a plan for your day made up of stops. For each stop we process the name, address, planned time and arrival facts (such as the estimated and actual time of arrival), and, where you use them, events you import from your device calendar (including the event title, time and location) and the contact you choose to notify about a delay (name and phone number). To provide route, ETA and lateness features, stop names and addresses, including calendar event titles, are sent to the AI model providers and maps/geocoding/search providers described below.

Onboarding Information. During onboarding you may answer a short quiz (your profession, your main pain point and your typical number of stops). We store these answers as profile properties with our subscription and analytics providers (Adapty and Amplitude) to personalize the App and improve our services.

Purchase Information. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive subscription status and transaction information (for example, the product purchased, trial and renewal status and dates) through our subscription management provider Adapty. We never receive or store your payment card details.

Personal Information You Provide. We may collect your email address or other contact details if you contact support or opt into communications.

Business Data. Business data refers to data that accumulates over the normal course of operation on our platform, such as technical/analytics records and performance metrics used strictly to operate, secure, and improve the App.

Legal bases for processing

We will process your personal information lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner. We collect and process information about you only where we have a legal basis for doing so.

These legal bases include:

  • Contract: to provide the App and fulfill your requests;
  • Legitimate Interests: to operate, secure, and improve the App (balanced against your rights);
  • Consent: for permissions such as location, microphone/speech recognition, notifications, music/media control, navigation intents, camera, contacts, calendar, the SMS composer, and (on Android) calls, as well as, where consent is required by applicable law, the use of your device advertising identifier for attribution and advertising; you may revoke these in your device settings;
  • Legal Obligation: to comply with applicable laws.

Where you consent to our use of information for a specific purpose, you may withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect processing already performed).

We do not keep personal information longer than necessary. While retained, we protect it using commercially acceptable means. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Collection and use of information

We may collect, hold, use, and disclose information for the following purposes, and personal information will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes:

  • to provide the App’s core features;
  • to process your voice commands and, at your direction, open and control supported apps on your device;
  • to fulfill navigation requests by passing your navigation intents to your chosen navigation app;
  • to fulfill music playback requests by controlling your chosen music application/service;
  • (Android) to initiate and manage phone calls that you request;
  • to provide limited personalization using a recent interaction history (text only);
  • to provide the Day Plan feature, including building your plan, estimating arrival times and predicting lateness;
  • to import events from your calendar into a Day Plan at your request;
  • to help you notify a contact of a late arrival by opening the system SMS composer at your request;
  • to manage subscriptions, including free trials and free rides, and to verify your entitlements;
  • to conduct analytics on how the App is used and to improve it;
  • to measure attribution and advertising performance (for example, which campaign led to an install);
  • for technical assessment and security, including operating, maintaining, and improving the App and associated services;
  • to contact and communicate with you when you ask us to (e.g., support);
  • for internal record-keeping and administrative purposes.

We may aggregate personal data and use aggregated information to analyze App effectiveness, improve and add features, and for other similar purposes.

We may contact you about products or services only where you have opted in; you may opt out at any time using the mechanism provided.

Disclosure of personal information to third parties

To assist in meeting business operations needs and to perform certain services and functions, we may share personal data with vendors and service providers (e.g., hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, crash/error logging, maintenance/problem-solving) under written contracts requiring appropriate safeguards and use only under our instructions. The categories of vendors we use are:

  • AI model providers, accessed through OpenRouter, which process voice command text and stop names and addresses (including calendar event titles) to generate responses and Day Plan results;
  • Maps, geocoding and search providers: Mapbox, TomTom, Google and Serper, which process addresses, place names and location data to find places, calculate routes and estimate arrival times;
  • Analytics providers: Amplitude and Firebase, which receive usage events and device data (Amplitude also records approximate location and IP address);
  • Attribution and advertising providers: AppsFlyer and the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which receive your advertising identifier, device data and install/app-open events for attribution and advertising measurement; Firebase also receives the advertising identifier;
  • Subscription management: Adapty, which receives subscription and purchase information and the onboarding profile properties described above;
  • App stores: Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play), which process your purchases and payments.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights, safety, and security, to detect/prevent fraud, or in connection with a corporate transaction, as permitted by law.

The App may provide links to other websites or allow you to launch third-party apps and system services (e.g., your navigation app, music app, system voice invocation). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. This policy does not extend to your use of such third-party services. Review their policies before use.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in this section under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our disclosure of your advertising identifier and device data to AppsFlyer, Meta (Facebook) and Firebase for attribution and advertising purposes may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.

How to opt out. You may opt out of this sharing by (i) resetting or limiting the advertising identifier in your device settings; (ii) declining the tracking permission on iOS (App Tracking Transparency); or (iii) emailing info@ray.app with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.

Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion of your personal information; and to request correction of inaccurate personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ray.app. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

No discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

International transfers of personal information

The personal information we collect may be stored and processed in the US, UK, EU/EEA, or other jurisdictions where we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers maintain facilities.

Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, or other legally accepted mechanisms).

Where we transfer personal information from a non-EEA country to another country, you acknowledge that third parties in other jurisdictions may not be subject to similar data protection laws as in our jurisdiction, which may limit available remedies.

Your rights and controlling your personal information

Choice and Consent: By providing personal information to us, you consent to our collecting, holding, using, and disclosing it in accordance with this policy. If you are under 16, you must have parental/guardian consent. You may refuse to provide personal information; however, this may affect your use of the App or services offered through it.

Information from Third Parties: If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this policy. If you provide personal information about someone else, you represent and warrant that you have that person’s consent.

Restrict: You may request that we restrict the collection or use of your personal information. If you ask us to restrict processing, we will explain how the restriction affects your use of the App.

Access and Data Portability: You may request details and a copy of the personal information we hold about you (in a commonly used, machine-readable format where feasible).

Data Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information.

Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal information (including your interaction history and Day Plan data) where there is no good reason for continued processing, subject to legal obligations and permissible retention. To make a request, email info@ray.app with a deletion request, sending it from the email address associated with your account or including your account identifier. We will process your request within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Objection/Restriction: You may object to or request restriction of certain processing.

Marketing: If you have opted into communications, you may unsubscribe at any time using the mechanism provided or by contacting us.

Data Retention

Interaction History (text only): retained only as long as needed to provide context and personalization, then deleted or de-identified in the ordinary course of business.

Day Plan Data: stops and related Day Plan data (including imported calendar events) are retained on our servers for 30 days after the plan date and are then deleted.

Selected Notification Contact: the name and phone number of the contact you select are stored encrypted. They are deleted when you remove the stop, when you replace the contact, and in any event within 24 hours after the plan is completed.

Calendar Data: we do not store a full snapshot of your calendar. Only the events you choose to import become stops and are retained as described for Day Plan Data.

Analytics and Attribution Data: retained by our analytics and attribution providers in accordance with the retention settings we configure with each provider.

Logs/Diagnostics: retained for a limited period necessary for security and troubleshooting.

Where the law requires longer retention, we will comply.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Business transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event we cease operations or enter bankruptcy, data may be transferred to the acquiring party, subject to this policy.

Limits of our policy

Our App may link to external sites or allow you to launch third-party apps not operated by us. We have no control over their content and policies and accept no responsibility or liability for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes through the App or the app store (App Store or Google Play) through which the App is delivered.

Your continued use of the App after changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of our practices regarding privacy and personal information.

If we make a significant change (e.g., changing a lawful basis or expanding categories of data), we will seek re-consent where required by law.

Cookies

The mobile App does not use traditional web cookies. Our website may use cookies as described on that site.

On mobile devices, functionally similar on-device storage or identifiers may be used strictly to operate core functionality. In addition, the SDKs listed above (AppsFlyer, Firebase and the Meta (Facebook) SDK) use your device advertising identifier for attribution and advertising measurement. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier, decline tracking on iOS, and manage permissions and notifications in your device settings.
